I love this city!
This morning I ran from the hotel to Karluv Most, or the Charles Bridge, the oldest bridge in Prague.
It was a beautiful morning. It had rained a little overnight so the skies were clear and the weather was perfect running weather. There was this park that seemed nice but I only got to run on the edges of it... from the map it looks huge. Next time though. Prague is not a place you could spend weeks in and still do a million new things, like Paris or London, but it is quaint and so special. The buildings are 4 or 5 stories high and stuck next to each other like Parisian buildings, but instead of being all white, they have color and design. The hues are mostly muted but each building looks unique.
At Prague Castle, the views of the city are amazing. The rooftops are all red and you can see churches and buildings for miles.
Last night I had a Czech dish- roast beef in stew with a dollop of cream and cranberries on top with dumplings, which basically looks like slices of a bread loaf. It was good... the restaurant was called Cafe Louvre and apparently it was one of Franz Kafkas and Einsteins favorite places to go to when in Prague. We just got back from water biking on the Vltava River. It was incredibly peaceful but tiring.. my legs feel like jelly.
Tomorrow we leave Praha for Munich or Munchen, and then we are off to Paris.
