bliss is..

my parents and me, sitting outdoors in the afternoon sun with a live, disneyland-like, jazz band of grandfather musicians perched atop a pick up truck, eating earl grey tea ice cream and lavender ice cream, simply enjoying a mellow Sunday.

caught in the moment, a stray thought.  how many more times will i get to cherish such outings?  where i dictate places to go and everything just comes easily.
